About Us

We are an independent, Bible-believing group of Christians who gather together to worship the Lord in accordance to His word.

Jesus is The Truth and also The Word, and therefore we place a strong emphasis on teaching the Word of God.  It is possible to know the Word of God and not know the Savior.  But, it is impossible to know the Savior without knowing the Word of God.

The Church is called the body of Christ.  We are a local church which is a representative of Jesus Christ to the world.  The body of Christ cares for all its members and listens carefully to it’s Head, which is Jesus Christ Himself.

Only believers are part of the body of Christ.  Thus, all activities in this church are targeted toward growing believers up in Christ.  The Great Commission is a call to make disciples, not just converts.  The Lord promises us that if we love our fellow believers that He will testify to the world that we are His disciples.  As we grow in our love for Him, we will love one another and will naturally tell the unsaved world about the One whom we love.

We believe that these seven basic doctrines should be held in common by all born again believers in Christ Jesus.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in its original writing, authoritative, and our only rule for faith and life.  It is preserved by God to this very age.

The Holy Spirit so guided and superintended the writers of Scripture that they wrote all that He wanted them to write, without excess, omission, or error.(2Peter 1:20-21; 2Timothy 3:16)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. By His infinite essence, God defies complete definition by His finite creatures.  We can truly know Him only by revelation, whether general as in nature, or specific as in the Bible.  By this revelation, we know God as a single Triune Being in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each being onmiscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.

(Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 3:16-17; 1Peter 1:2; Psalm 14:1; John 1:1-2; Hebrews 11:6)

Man was created in the first man, Adam, as a direct act of God, to glorify God through obedience and love.  Man rebelled and fell into a sinful state, unable to save himself from the literal hell he deserves.  As a result, sin was passed on to all men through the fall of Adam.(Genesis 2:16, 3:7; Romans 3:9-18, 5:12)

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, Eternal salvation is available to us by God’s grace alone, through our faith in Jesus Christ.  Man is redeemed from the penalty, power and eventually the very presence of sin through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Because He gave up His throne in heaven to be born of a virgin, because He lived a sinless perfect life on this earth, because He shed His blood in His death on the cross, and because He was resurrected in bodily form as was foretold, we are assured that His sacrifice was accepted by God.  Anyone who believes in Him can receive that gift of eternal life; but we must receive it from Him.(Romans 5:8, 6:23, 8:35-39, 10:9-10; Titus 1:11-14, 3:5; Ephesians 1:13-14; Acts 4:12)

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Man – Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Jesus Christ is co-equal, co-eternal, and co-existent with the Father and the Holy Spirit.  He freely and willingly came to earth and took upon Himself the nature of man, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

Jesus Christ rose the third day from the grave, giving us assurance that He was victorious over sin and death.

Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation, esus promised to return for those who have trusted Him by faith.  This is the believer’“hope”  that is so often mentioned Scripture. Jesus Christ will return for His Church at any moment.  Then, following a seven year period of tribulation, Jesus Christ will return to set up his kingdom on earth where He will rule and reign for 1000 years. (John 13:1-3; 1Thessalonians 4:16-5:10; 1Corinthians 15:51-57; Titus 2:13)

“We are the voice and the hand that encourages people to change their live with hope, comfort and peace.” Isaiah 51:3
